HONOLULU (KHON2) — The YWCA Oahu, Hawaii’s oldest and largest women’s membership organization, is celebrating a major anniversary in 2025 as they continue to empower Hawaii’s women and celebrate their outstanding achievements.
The organization is commemorating 125 years while doing what they do best–honoring the women who have impacted their communities in big ways.
“Each one of these outstanding women have made significant contributions over the
years to our communities and the advancement of women in Hawai‘i. We are proud to
recognize their accomplishments at this year’s LeaderLuncheon,” said Noriko Namiki,
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of YWCA O‘ahu.
The four women being celebrated come from different industries from non-profit to banking, restaurant to staffing.

- Michelle Ka’uhane, Hawai’i Community Foundation, Senior VP and Chief Impact Officer

This year’s YWCA Oahu’s 48th Annual LeaderLuncheon and 125th Anniversary will be at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel on May 8, from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
