HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Honolulu Fire Department responded to a fire call on Homerule Street in Kalihi shortly at approximately 3:48 a.m. on July 5.
Units arrived within several minutes, where officials say they found a two-story residential walk-up building on fire.
HFD officials say they launched an aggressive attack against a mattress fire, which was extinguished at 4 a.m.
No injuries were reported, and an investigation has been initiated to determine the origin of the fire and provide damage estimates.
